Adult & Youth - Jamm'n Island Girl Hawaiian Dance
Learn basic hand, body, and foot motions related to graceful Hawaiian dancing. You gain an understanding of body alignment, technique, dance moves, and culture. It's relaxing, fun, and definitely exercise!
Date: Thursdays, Classes are held year round.
Time: Beginner class 5:30-6:15 (Age 4 and up), Intermediate 6:15-7:00, and Advanced from 7-8pm
Location: Riverview Community Center, 401 Willow
Fee:$25/person, or $40/family.

Adult & Youth - Mexican Folk Dance
This class is for intermediate & advanced Mexican folk dancers. The focus is on dances from different regions of Mexico. This class is specifically designed to prepare for performances. Younger dancers that are advanced may also join. This class is taught by Dr. Ma Guadalupe C. De La Rosa who has been teaching Mexican Folk Dancing in Bakersfield for over 30 years & has directed and taught many groups.
Date: Fridays, Classes are held year round.
Time: 5:30 p.m. - 8:30 p.m.
Location: Fruitvale-Norris Building, 6221 Norris Road
Fee: $10 per month, pay instructor at class.
