CONDITIONS OF EMPLOYMENT WITH THE DISTRICT:
An offer of employment will be contingent upon passing the following:

  • Required to submit to a criminal history check through fingerprinting
  • A background investigation may be conducted
  • Post Offer Medical Exam, Functional Capacity Exam, Drug screen, and / or TB Skin
    test may be required
  • Required to submit verification of your identity and citizenship or legal right to work
    in the United States
  • Candidates under 18 years of age must provide a valid work (school) permit.
    If already graduated, proof of graduation may be required.

Volunteers

Spend some free time helping your neighbors at NOR! Meet people, make friends, explore new interests and make a contribution to your community by volunteering! Opportunities range from a few hours on an occasional basis to ongoing jobs that require specific skills and responsibilities. Some of the areas where we could use volunteer help are the Senior Adult Program, Sports Programs, Children's Learning Centers, and Community Centers.

CONDITIONS OF VOLUNTEER SERVICE WITH NOR:

  • Must complete a Volunteer Application and maintain current information with each program
  • Must complete a Fingerprint Questionnaire
  • Must submit to fingerprinting prior to their volunteer service

CURRENT VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITIES 

  • Primary Football Coaches: This program is through the school districts within NOR. Primary Flag Football season is October through November.  This program teaches children a variety of football skills including: throwing, catching, pulling flags, running/agility, and kicking/punting. Skill development and teamwork are emphasized in this program. Children will learn how to play football in a FUN, non-threatening environment. Transportation to and from games is not provided.  Coaches are mostly parents that want to participate with their childs team.  If you are interested in Coaching, please call our office at 392-2000.

  • Home Meal Delivery Driver: Help our “Meals on Wheels” program by delivering meals during your lunch hour.  This program utilizes employee and volunteer drivers.  To download the flyer - Home Meal Delivery Drivers
