Dear District Resident:

North of the River Recreation and Park District (NOR) periodically updates the Park and Recreation Master Plan, which provides guidance regarding facilities and activities that should be included as part of our services to area residents. Since the last master plan update, much growth has occurred, residential densities have increased, additional land has been added to the service area, and many people from outside Kern County have moved into the NOR district. All of these factors potentially influence the services that NOR provides.

This survey is intended to validate the long term planning direction for park and recreation facilities and services within the NOR area. It is intended to gather useful information to determine how closely the needs of district residents are being met. This survey will also provide information that will enable NOR to plan for and provide services that more closely meet identified community needs.

Your participation is voluntary. Individual responses will not be shared with others. Only the compilation of input will become public record.
